You are going to love this easy copycat recipe for replicating the original flavor Bitchin Sauce recipe at home! It's made from raw almonds and the perfect blend of seasonings. You're going to want to dip everything in this stuff!

Bitchin Sauce Recipe (1)

Why This Bitchin Sauce Recipe is So Good

  • Making it homemade will save you money! As with most packaged foods, making this dip yourself will be much less expensive than buying it at the store.
  • It tastes just like the real thing. The spices and seasonings in this recipe for Bitchin' sauce are as close to perfect as I can get!
  • Bitchin' Sauce is available at many grocery stores in the US now, but if you live somewhere where it's hard to find, make this recipe so you can enjoy the amazing almond-based flavor too.
  • It's made in minutes in the food processor! You can also use a blender.

Tips and Tricks for Making The Best Bitchin Sauce Recipe

  • Using a food processor to make this recipe will give you a coarse texture, similar to the original Bitchin sauce. If you prefer a smoother dip, use a high-speed blender instead.
  • Don't buy salted almonds. Raw, unsalted almonds are what you want for this recipe. Salted almonds are just too salty.
  • No need to soak the almonds! If your blender or food processor has enough power, it should be able to blend them up easily. If you're trying to make Bitchin sauce with a blender that isn't so strong, you can soak the almonds overnight in cold water.
  • Adjust the flavor to your own tastes. After the dip is mixed, taste it. Add salt, pepper, or anything you think it needs.
  • Because this is a copycat recipe, I generally would advise against too many substitutions. However, any type of vinegar can be used, and you can choose grapeseed or avocado oil instead of olive oil if you like.
  • Chill before serving. Let the dip chill for at least an hour before enjoying it. This will make it thick and give the flavors time to meld.

What to Make with Homemade Bitchin Sauce

This delicious dip is great on so many things! Use it as a spread, a drizzle, or a sauce too.

  • Spread it on Avocado Toast. I like to add a fried egg to mine too - yummy!
  • Use it as a sandwich spread, or try it on a low-carb Bell Pepper Sandwich.
  • Drizzle Bitchin Sauce on vegan burgers, and dip your french fries in it too.

Notes

  • A food processor gives you a coarser texture, similar to the original Bitchin sauce. For a smoother texture, I like to use a blender for this recipe.
  • Use raw unsalted almonds for this recipe. If you use salted almonds, your recipe will be too salty.
  • I don’t find it necessary to soak your almonds so they blend smoother. If your blender or food processor is not high powered and has issues blending, you can soak the almonds in hot water for an hour before blending. You can also soak them overnight in cold/room temperature water.
  • If you don’t have apple cider vinegar, you can substitute with another vinegar.
  • Instead of olive oil, you can substitute avocado oil or grapeseed oil. The original Bitchin sauce uses grapeseed oil, so if you would like to be closer to the store-bought version you can use that. I just like the flavor from extra virgin olive oil personally.
  • Taste and adjust any seasonings after blending.

I love Bitchin Sauce!!! Thank you for this easy recipe to make my own.
I enjoy experimenting and usually add more ingredients to basic recipes but this is perfect as it is.
A word to anyone who is thinking about trying this - do not change a single thing!

I haven't tried this recipe, yet, but I wanted to thank you in advance for sharing it. I love Bitchin' Sauce, but it's so pricey! I might be lazy about it and use almond flour. 🙂 I know that the original has almond skins, so I'll try "dark" almond flour, before trying the recipe with blanched almond flour.

I tried it today, with 1.5 cups of dark almond flour, keeping all the other measurements the same. It wasn't quite the same as Bitchin' Sauce, but delicious. I can't wait to make this more often and make variations. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
