Munson offers great benefits and programs for employees. I feel safe and cared for at work through security initiatives. I would like to see more resources going toward certain key departments, like Environmental Services and Information Systems. My department relies heavily on these and occasionally they are understaffed.

Munson is a very large company. There are many different job opportunities for people as well as educational ones. Munson has a good value system and works to keep their facilities safe and welcoming to patients, visitors, and staff. Munson Medical Center is currently expanding their campus, which will allow for more job opportunities and more updated facilities. I think Munson does an incredible job of paying attention to not only the needs to patients and family members, but the needs of staff members as well.

Great company to work for! Great benefits and learning paths. They offer work for many different career interests and have opportunities for people to grow within. They also offer tuition reimbursem*nt for staff to go back to school as long as they agree to work for a certain amount of years. It's been great working for them!

I started at Munson, traveled some and eventually make it back. The pay was a big downfall for me when I came back. I have been back for almost 5 years and I'm still not back to what I was making downstate, that's with weekend differential and clinical ladder. Benefits are not as good as previous hospitals either. They do match your retirement up to 6%. Hospital is in a convenient location and has a beautiful view of the bay from the upper floors. There is plan for a new woman and children's tower to break ground in 2020 so that will be good. Munson does transfer most of our sick children to DeVos since there is not a pediatric intensivist here.

I love my coworkers and how we all work together to make the patients feel better. I would pay employees better for better retainment, less turn over because currently with 6 years of experience here and one prior with also a associate and bachelor's degree I barely make more than the brand new employees.

I love working here with my co workers and helping patients. There are a mix of people who work here who will help me with anything I need. The patients are a good mix as well.

Despite the challenges recently in the hospital, I have noticed that patients have remained at the center. Management really cares about me as an individual and has made an effort to get to know my dreams and help me accomplish them.

Munson Medical Center provides a great work environment. I always felt like management cared about my opinions and my needs as far as balancing my life with work. Everyone was really friendly who I worked with at Munson Medical Center.

The experience I have had so far while working at Munson Healthcare has been valuable to learning how to work with others. I am in the Childcare department. Munson has been place of learning how to interact with others and I am grateful to have the opportunity during the summer. I grew up going to the childcare at the hospital, and now I have the opportunity to give back to the community. It's a very gratifying experience.

My team and leadership team are amazing. Helpful, encouraging and big picture oriented. I have complete control of my schedule which is amazing and I work remotely from home. The benefits are great and the employee premiums are reasonably.
