I don’t usually take time to leave reviews but Chris deserves it!! What an amazing haircut and person. Kind and funny and did a superb job. I did not reveal to him that I was a hair stylist for o er 10 yrs because I don’t like to come in like a know it all but let me just say that from a professional view point this guy is top notch! My daughter had an appointment scheduled at Waynesville Walmart Smart Styles to get her hair Ombré colored today, at 11:00. She even called yesterday afternoon to make sure the guy doing her hair still had her scheduled. He said he did and she was all set. I dropped her off at 10:45. She called me at 12:30 to come get her because the place never opened and the guy that should have been doing her hair never showed up. She talked to the Walmart manager and they were no help. She tried calling the numbers she had and got no where. Another lady also said she had an appointment at 12:00 and she was mad as well. She finally called The Smart Styles hair salon in Sylva Walmart. They told her they didn’t know where the guy was or why he didn’t show up. They said they saw online where she was scheduled for 11:00, and said if she drove over there they would work her in. So we drove 30 miles to Sylva and because her day was wasted she only got a regular coloring job, not the one she had scheduled to get, which was a bunch of ombré colors. After today will not recommend this salon.

Very friendly and they did a great job. My only problem is that they charged me more than double what I was given for an estimate without telling me before the services were done. I wouldn’t have a problem with $50-70 more than the estimate, but it ended up much more than that. The work she did was definitely worth the price, but a heads up would have been great.
