DescriptionJOIN MUNSON HEALTHCARES SLEEP MEDICINE TEAM!Full-time | Monday Friday | Call-Sleep Center OnlyGeneral SummaryMunson Healthcares Sleep Disorders service line, an AASM accredited sleep center, is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine physician to join their team. This full-time position, split between Cadillac and Manistee, is Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays and is sleep center call only. This position is supported by three sleep specialized APPs (2 in Cadillac and 1 in Manistee). The ideal candidate is attracted to a busy practice and interested in becoming a vital part of Munsons sleep medicine team.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Performs consultations and downstream care for patients who have obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia.
• Orders and understands diagnostic tests and tools, including home sleep tests for patients.
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for sleep apnea and insomnia.
• Educates members about sleep health and ensures ongoing care.
• Communicates and collaborates with referring providers.
• Interprets sleep studies performed in Manistee and Cadillac locations.
• Cadillac-4 bed lab, Manistee-2 bed lab.

Standard Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine
• MI license or eligible for medication licensure in the State of Michigan
